Tanzania Photo Safari

SOLD OUT.  PLEASE SEE MY FEB 2019 SAFARI

Join me in Tanzania to explore the river crossings of the great migration, find the cats of the central Serengeti region, and photograph amazing vistas of the vast grassy plains. I have been leading safaris into the Serengeti of Tanzania since 2007 and know the country like the back of my hand. We’ll fly everyone straight out to the heart of the safari country where we have amazing camps set up that put us right in the thick of the action!

This safari is all about photography and you can expect lots of it.

Our first location will be a private, tented camp in the central Serengeti, an area that I often refer to as “Cat Alley”. Here our emphasis will be on lion, leopard, and cheetah. Exploring the numerous rocky outcroppings called kopjes, you will get to capture the true endless plains of the Serengeti and the unlimited photography that is all around you. We will be able to follow the game, where ever they take us.

Our second camp will be located in the northernmost region of the Serengeti National Park, a prime location to photograph the classic river crossings in which millions of wildeebest and zebras cross the Mara River as they return to Tanzania from Kenya. In hopes of capturing the great migration we will use our time in the north to strategically position ourselves to record these iconic images, should mother nature cooperate for us. This location will also allow us to explore the northern plains and rocky areas that is seldom visited. These areas often produce striking images of lions and leopards as well as vistas that are unique to this area.
