Tanzania 2007 A collection of images from my 2007 photo safari to Tanzania, Africa. Areas photographed include the vast Serengeti Plains, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Arusha National Park, and Gibbs Farm. Tanzania 2008 In 2008, I spent more than 29 days in Tanzania while leading two photo safaris.  Areas photographed include N'Dutu Region, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park, and  the Ngorongoro Crater African Culture A collection of images spanning several years that depict life in Tanzania. These images range from classic and traditional Massai Men and Women to activities in rural Tanzania. Africa Black & White This gallery features images from a number of my African Safaris that have been processed to reveal their spectacular properties as black and white photographs. Bosque del Apache Bosque del Apache is Spanish for "woods of the Apache." Bosque has come to mean one of the most spectacular national wildlife refuges in North America. Here, tens of thousands of birds arrive in autumn and stay through the winter. Very Large Array & Santa Fe A radio telescope array, largest of its type in the world, located near Socorro, New Mexico.  This site has 27 parabolic dish antennas, each 25 meters in diameter, placed along three 21 km long rails in a y-shaped pattern.  Also included in this collection are photos from the Santa Fe region of New Mexico Tulips of the Pacific Northwest Located in the fertile Skagit Valley, this area of the Pacific Northwest is the largest producer of tulips in the United States. The Northern Cascade Mountains often complete the scene with a magnificent backdrop. Iraq & Jordan Images from the ancient cities of Babylon in Iraq and Petra in Jordan. Air Shows A collection of aircraft images from air shows and events across the nation.  This collection features the Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, and the seldom seen MV22 Osprey. Northwest Collections A collection of various images from across the northwest, including Tall Ships of 2005 & 2008, Seattle Waterfront, and Mount Rainier. The Underwater World Underwater images from across the globe. Featured locations include the South Pacific Islands of Truk, Yap, Phonepia, and Fiji, as well as images from the Pacific Northwest, Belize, Honduras, and the Bahamas. Special Effects This gallery will include images that focus on using multiple captures or special techniques to complete a final image.  Techniques include high dynamic range (HDR), panorama scenes which use five or move images to complete the scene, and long exposures for night photography.
