Croatia

SOLD OUT

Join me and Ana Pogacar in Croatia, with a wealth of photographic possibilities and the chance to stretch yourself creatively in some of Europe’s most stunning locations. You’ll return with an impressive portfolio of travel shots as well as some incredible memories of the Adriatic coast and the historical region of Dalmatia.

We start in the charming old town of Rovinj on the Istrian Peninsula including a visit to the Roman amphitheatre at Pula. Get close ups of stunning architectural details and capture the colour and bustle of life in the enchanting cobbled streets.  Try creative long exposures to capture waterfalls and stunning reflections at Plitvice National Park, the ‘lake district’ of Croatia—don’t forget your polarizer for this part of the workshop! Capture the contrast of seascapes against the old city of Dubrovnik. Walk the city, camera in hand, and capture medieval to Austro-Hungarian architecture, café culture, trams, markets, and rooftop views over lively squares. There’s something in this city for everyone.

This workshop is very diverse and involves a lot of outdoor photography; we will shoot from scenic vantage points, which we can  either drive to, or some require a short walk. Dubrovnik is notorious for its steps and the city walls require about two hours walk. Plitvice Lakes National Park is all outdoors and there are some moderate elevation changes. You should therefore have a moderate level of fitness and come with suitable clothes and footwear. All levels of photographer, from beginner to pro, are welcome. This is a workshop that won’t disappoint!
