Nikon

Photography Equipment

I am most familiar with Nikon camera equipment and often the use following equipment in capturing my images:

Nikon Camera Bodies:
D3
D3s
D2h (used for high speed shooting requirements)
D300 (several D300s are used as primary bodies for use when a 1.5x sensor size is best used)
D700
D200 (used as a backup to a backup and paperweight only)

Nikon Lenses:
10.5 fisheye f/2.8 G
12-24mm f/4G IF-ED
14-24mm f/2.8G ED
17-55mm f/2.8D IF-ED
24-70mm f/2.8G ED
70-200mm VR f/2.8 IF-ED
200-400mm VR f/4G IF-ED
600mm VR f/4G ED

While in the field, images are stored on Hyperdrives and copied to primary and secondary portable Lacie hard drives as back-up.

Processing is done using Adobe CS4/5 and Lightroom.  Plug-ins that I frequently rely on for image production include:
Genuine Fractals
Nik Software Suite
PK Sharpener
FM Intella Sharpen
Noise Ninja
OnOne

Additional software packages used, but less often include:
buZZ.Pro3 by Fo2Pix
PTGui
Photomatix Pro3
Breezbrowser
Downloader Pro
Art Master

Tripods are Gitzo carbon fiber pods all mounted with Really Right Stuff ball heads.

All of these toys are carried in a Guru Gear Bag and usually a Vested Interest photo vest.  The vest may not be a piece of designer clothing, but it sure works!

Printing is done on Epson 4800 and 7800 printers with MOAB archival paper.  Matting is done using Bainbridge archival mat boards and supplies.  Custom mats are cut in-house using a Speed Mat wall mounted mat cutter. Frames are custom cut from Neilson stock.
