Tanzania Safari: Ndutu to Namiri, Day 5

Today was a travel day to our next camp, however it was not without photographs along the way. On the way out of the camp, we revisited a zebra kill from the previous day. A male lion was still guarding his kill along with thousands of flies.

I ran into Kileo, my head guide from Thomson Safaris at Naabi Gate. It was such a treat to see him and introduce him to my clients!

We saw a huge change in the ecosystem as we moved from the semi-forest and lake shore areas of Ndutu to the massive, endless plains of the Serengeti. There's no doubt that the next four days on the Namiri plains will be stacked high with photography opportunities.
